  5. ECHO       (P.O.S.) Cash  Register for retail, wholesale, mail-
  6. ECHO       order, bar, restaurant, fast food, convenient stores,

  8. ECHO       Sales  Register is a flexible point of sale  software 
  9. ECHO       package  that  will enable your IBM PC or  compatible 
  10. ECHO       microcomputer  to  operate like  an  electronic  cash 
  11. ECHO       register,  perform  the same functions,  produce  the 
  12. ECHO       same  management  report  information,  plus  provide 
  13. ECHO       automatic inventory management of  quantity in stock, 
  14. ECHO       quantity sold  daily, quantity  sold  period-to-date,
  15. ECHO       quantity sold year to date, and re-order  quantity of
  16. ECHO       each item in the inventory file.  Provides  inventory 
  17. ECHO       shrinkage reports, re-order report,  inventory  sales 
  18. ECHO       reports, on-hand report, out-of-stock report, activi
  19. ECHO       ty report, and much more. Tracks ingredients/components
  20. ECHO       Supports cash, check, credit card, coupon, charge, and
  21. ECHO       food stamp sales.

  23. ECHO       Automaticly recouncile perpetual inventory with physical

  66. ECHO    Make a backup of your Sales Register Diskettes.
  67. ECHO    If  you do not know how to format and  copy  diskettes, 
  68. ECHO    please refer to your computer users manual.

  70. ECHO    For  ease of operation,  you may want to label all your 
  71. ECHO    function keys. Please refer to page 4 of your manual.
  72. ECHO    You  will  not be able to operate  the  cash  register 
  73. ECHO    program efficiently,  if you do not label your function 
  74. ECHO    keys.
  75. ECHO    You may print the Sales Register user's manual and keytop 
  76. ECHO    labels after you install your Sales Register software  to 
  77. ECHO    your hard disk, from main menu #1.

  81. ECHO    INSTALLATION:
  82. ECHO.        
  83. ECHO    Put the Sales Register program diskette #1 in drive A.
  84. ECHO    Type  A: PRESS THE ENTER KEY
  85. ECHO    Type INSTALL A: C: PRESS THE ENTER KEY
  86. ECHO    This will create an  SRIII\  and  an  SRIII\DATA\  sub-
  87. ECHO    directory on drive C and copy all the program files  to 
  88. ECHO    SRIII\ sub-directory and all the data files to SRIII\DATA\
  89. ECHO    sub-directory.  
  90. ECHO    You  can install from any floppy disk drive to any  hard 
  91. ECHO    drive,  just by entering the proper drive letter for the 
  92. ECHO    source and destination disk drive.
  93. ECHO    Type B: PRESS THE ENTER KEY
  94. ECHO    Type INSTALL B: D: PRESS THE ENTER KEY
  95. ECHO    This  will  install the SALES REGISTER distribution disk 
  96. ECHO    files from drive B to hard disk drive D.
  97. ECHO.        
  98. ECHO    A sample inventory file & customer file is provided on your
  99. ECHO    distribution diskettes.

  103. ECHO    At the SRIII Dir., type SRIII AND PRESS THE ENTER KEY
  104. ECHO    This will load the SALES REGISTER program.
  105. ECHO    You may skip to chapter 3-1, BEGIN CASH REGISTER 
  106. ECHO    OPERATIONS, to test the cash register functions.
